At Garda, we’ve always believed that businesses have a role to play beyond the services they provide. Over the years, we’ve encouraged many of our clients to explore social value projects and find ways to give something back.
For more than 20 years, Grant Maton has been an incredible ambassador for Essex Wildlife Trust, championing the importance of protecting our local wildlife and natural spaces. We’ve had the pleasure of working with Grant for over 10 of those years, and his passion and enthusiasm have always been inspiring.
Supporting organisations like Essex Wildlife Trust feels like a natural fit for Garda. We’ve seen first-hand the positive impact that their initiatives can have through the work our clients have been involved in.
For example, we’ve supported Brown & Carroll with their tree planting initiatives, helping them contribute to local environmental projects. We’ve also worked with TWO Services for over 12 years as they partnered with Essex Wildlife Trust on a newt pond project, which included improvements to local habitats, footpaths, birdwatching facilities and biodiversity.
These projects demonstrate that giving back doesn’t have to be complicated. Often, it starts with a conversation, an introduction or simply finding the right organisation to work with.
That’s something we’ve always enjoyed doing for our clients. Helping them identify opportunities to create meaningful social value alongside their business goals.
A huge thank you to Grant for his continued inspiration and dedication. We’re excited to become Gold Members of Essex Wildlife Trust and look forward to playing our part in protecting the wildlife and environment around us.
