Brand packaging and labels
Having already worked with Cannatella & Colletti’s parent company, Glinwell Marketing, we were on hand from Day One with this new firm.
Established with the aim of providing premium fresh produce to high-end restaurants and dining establishments, as well as selling a range of artisanal gourmet sauces, the company needed a premier brand to reflect quality, exclusivity and very fine taste.
And that’s when we got involved.
Step 1: We began by developing a list of potential brand names, drawing together the company’s humble roots and growing expertise, finally settling on ‘Cannatella & Colletti’ – the surnames of Glinwell’s two Italian founders and the fathers of the firm’s directors.
Step 2: We followed this by creating a strapline – “British growers, Italian roots” – to provide customers with a succinct snapshot of the company.
Step 3: Our designer worked to our client’s preferences, developing brand colours and a logo to reflect the premium nature of the company.
Step 4: We developed a set of brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in design, imagery, style and tone for future marketing materials – both in the short and long term.
Step 5: From here, we designed and built the new website, including an ‘Our Products’ page directing consumers to purchase.
Step 6: Cannatella & Colletti’s product range now established, we then set about developing refined yet appealing product labels for each gourmet sauce.
Step 7: To create mouth-watering images for prospective buyers, we organised and art directed a series of photo shoots, capturing beautiful photography to feature on product packaging.
Step 8: The new labels complete with our irresistible imagery and sophisticated branding, Cannatella & Colletti was finally ready to go to market.
Ever since, Cannatella & Colletti has grown from strength to strength, making a name for itself in the busy gourmet food industry, and supplying both Tesco and Ocado with its delicious products. That’s the power of a fantastic product and a fantastic brand working together seamlessly.
